This national network founded by author Dave Eggers and award-winning educator Nínive Calegari offers youth-centered creative writing workshops, tutoring centers, and other programs in seven cities. Two of those cities, Washington, D.C. and New York, have some winter offerings.
In Starting from Scratch: Creativity & Code, writers/coders ages 9 to 13 will use MIT’s Scratch coding kit to “explore the many ways” writing and coding elements “can come together."
